TRIO PAPYAN was founded in 2008 by cellist Steve Kramer, pianist Nare Papyan and flutist Elena Vyaznikova in order to focus on chamber music of the classical and romantic period. TRIO PAPYAN is innovative and conservative at the same time, it merges the russian traditional style that is the background of the players with the modern dutch influences, that the musicians gained in the years of working in the netherlands. This combination and the extraordinary skills in musical communication of the musicans make TRIO PAPYAN a unique ensemble and experience for the audience. After winning the competition for the foundation "muziek in huis" the TRIO PAPYAN is going to give 15 concerts in different locations all over the Netherlands and is currently preparing different concert programmes for the upcoming seasons.
