Hieronymus is a fresh, flexible early music collective, specialising in the performance of renaissance and early baroque repertoire.
Increasingly experimenting with a bold, ornamented sound, and mixing strong voices with historical instruments, Hieronymus aims to bring a distinctive colour and character to the performance of both sacred and secular music from the 15th to 17th centuries.
Formed in 2017 by singer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Hopper, and based in the Netherlands, the group comprises current students and graduates from the early music departments of the country's leading conservatories.
