Les passions de l'âme was founded in the year 2000 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. It devotes itself to the performance of baroque music, exploring the aesthetics and elegance of the 18th century. Thanks to its exciting combination of baroque instruments, Les passions de l'âme embraces a very wide, sparkling and amazing repertoire, combining pieces written for the whole ensemble (Concerti da Camera by Vivaldi, for instance) with Triosonatas for two Dessus and Basso and pieces with two Bass instruments. The richness of colors and repertoire makes the performances of Les passions de l'âme an experience full of magic, virtuosity and poetry. The musicians come from Spain, Brazil, The Netherlands, Israel, Russia and Macedonia. Les passions de l'âme has been coached by Sébastien Marq, Peter van Heyghen, Ryo Terakado, Dorothea Winter and Jacques Ogg and has performed around The Netherlands.

Antonia Tejeda was born in Barcelona in 1975. She is currently a member of Dionysus Consort (15th and 16th - century repertoire), La Furia dal Disonante (17th century repertoire) and Rubato Appassionato (18th century repertoire). She has played in the Early Music Festivals of Barcelona and Utrecht.
Gilberto Caserio was born in Sao Paulo in 1976. He has worked with various early music ensembles and orchestras such as Utrecht Baroque Consort, Den Haag Barok Orkest, Concerto Amsterdam, Gottinger Barok Orkest, Fuoco e Cenere and Concerto Copenhagen. He is also a member of the ensemble Elyma, under the direction of Gabriel Garrido.

Frouke Mooij was born in Amsterdam in 1978. She has played under the leading of renowned artists such as Elizabeth Wallfisch, Bartold Kuijken, Roy Goodman, Margereth Faultless and Nigel North and performed with several early music ensembles and orchestras, including Orkest van Wassenaer and Concerto d'Amsterdam.

Eyal Streett was born in Jerusalem in 1978. He has toured and recorded with some of the leading Early Music ensembles in Europe such as Freiburger Barockorchester, La Petite Bande and Les Talens Lyriques. He performs frequently with various chamber music ensembles including Nachtmusique, Rubato Appassionato and The Balthazar Ensemble.

Sasha Agranov was born in Saint Petersburg in 1977. He is currently a member of La Seconda Mano and Rubato Appassionato (18th century repertoire), The Netherlands low string Trio (contemporary music) and The Zoozoo Ensemble (music with live electronics). He also performs regularly in contemporary projects such as The Worlds of Milosh, by Daniel Landau.

Cvetanka Sozovska was born in Skopje in 1975. She has been a member of the European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO), played with Orquesta de Cadaqués in Spain and worked with the Orchestra of the 18th Century and the dance company Leine & Roebana, as a harsichordist-repetitor. She is currently a member of the baroque ensembles Florilége, which has played in the Early Music Festival of Utrecht, and La rhétorique de deux.
