Carlos Leal Cardín is born in Madrid in 1989. He is currently a student of Christophe Coin at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland). Previously he studied with Lucia Swarts at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague and Aldo Mata, Suzana Stefanovic and Ángel Luis Quintana in Spain. He has also received masterclasses from some of the most important players of the HIP movement like Jaap ter Linden, Roel Dieltiens, Hidemi Suzuki, Malcolm Bilson, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Amandine Beyer and Anner Bylsma -for whom Carlos played Beethoven’s sonata op.102/2 in the ocasion of his 80th birthday.

Before turning towards the Early Music Carlos was academist of the Residentie Orkest and the Spanish National Orchestra. In the last years he has played within the Nederlandse Bachvereniging, the Orkest van de Achttiende Eeuw, B’rock or Vox Luminis participating in international tours and CD recordings of works by Schubert, Bach, Purcell and the Johannes Passion for the project He is also active in the chamber music field performing in The Netherlands and Spain with the Van Swieten Society, La Guirlande or the Metis String Quartet. Beside his experience as performer Carlos has taught in the Young Talent School of the Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague.

Carlos plays an instrument on loan from the Warnitz family and a baroque bow made by Kees van Hemert from the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds.

Carlos A. Nicolás Alonso is born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1990, he started his musical studies in his hometown continuing in Salamanca with Aldo Mata. In 2012 he moved to Den Haag to study both classical and baroque cello with Lucia Swarts receiving also lessons from Michel Strauss, Anner Bylsma, Dmitri Ferschtman, Roger Regter and Harro Ruijsenaars.

Brüggen, Peter Bruns, Marc Coppey, Roel Dieltiens, Cristoph Henkel, Asier Polo, Ángel Luis
Quintana, Pieter Wispelwey and Ferenc Rados. Price winner in competitions as "II concurso de Interpretación Musical", "Concurso Diputación de Toledo", “Arte Joven Castilla y León” and finalist in “Intercentros Melómano”. Performing in the Castilla y Leon Young Symphony Orchestra, Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, Nationaal JeugdOrkest, Trio Kyoss, Trio Sarasvati, Ciconia Consort, Nederlandse Bachvereniging, Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and Holland Baroque among others.
